Optimum Intervention in Transportation Networks Using Multimodal System under Fuzzy Stochastic Environment

Multimodal transport refers to the transportation of goods under a single contract but performed with at least two different modes transport. This research designs new method for solving Transportation Problem (TP) by introducing multimodal systems fuzzy-stochastic environment, which we refer as Fuzzy-Stochastic (FSMMTP). An algorithm is developed reduce FSMMTP deterministic TP, mainly based on α -cut fuzzy numbers, and uses signed distance function mean expectation cost parameters. We derive optimal solution well selection mode transporting in our proposed model. A numerical example justifies effectiveness study. The paper ends conclusion an outlook future studies.
